4 REASONS TO STUDY IN JAPAN

World Top Quality in Education and School Facilities

Japan is renowned for its exceptional education system, offering high-quality instruction in subjects such as literature, mathematics, and the sciences. All universities in Japan fall under the regulation of the Ministry of Education and Technology (MEXT), ensuring that certificates from Japanese universities are widely recognized and accepted. Additionally, there is a wide array of courses available to foreign students across various fields, facilitating their studies and research efforts. Furthermore, the Japanese government prioritizes the provision of effective student facilities, including the establishment of libraries in diverse locations, the offering of free language and cultural courses in each city, and the availability of scholarships from both government and private sectors.

Safe Environment and Excellent Medical

System

Japan is consistently ranked as one of the safest countries in the world, with low crime and drug rates compared to other developed nations. Tokyo and Osaka are also recognized as one of the safest cities globally. Despite occasional natural disasters, Japan maintains high safety standards, thanks in part to its advanced earthquake-proof technology, which has been a leader in global safe infrastructure for over four centuries. Moreover, Japan boasts the highest average life expectancy in the world, as reported by the World Health Organization. This is partly attributed to the country's exceptional and affordable national health insurance system, which provides access to an excellent medical system for all.

Opportunities to Study and Work in Japan

Long-Term

Japan has a high proportion of elderly people, which is leading to a shortage of labor for the country's development. In 2020, 23% of the Japanese population was over 64 years old. As a result, the Japanese government is currently prioritizing policies to attract foreign workers. Furthermore, the labor shortage in Japan has worsened after the COVID-19 pandemic. To address this issue and bolster economic growth, the opportunities for foreigners to work in Japan have been expanded. According to Japanese law, foreign students can work a maximum of 28 hours per week, which is typically sufficient to cover living expenses and monthly tuition fees. With the rising demand for labor, the prospects of finding full-time employment for those learning Japanese language are also increasing. Therefore, studying in Japan can enhance your prospects of securing a desirable full-time job and a higher income.

Nature, People and Unique Cultures

Japan is a very safe and convenient country with an excellent public transportation system. Additionally, the increasing number of airlines operating from various parts of Asia makes visiting family in Laos or traveling during free time from study or work easy and convenient. Studying and living in Japan offers the opportunity to gain an appreciation for the country's unique history, nature, culture, and art. It also provides a way to learn more about the Japanese people, their diverse culture, and society through language learning. These aspects are believed to contribute to self-understanding, personal value, cultural appreciation, and the ability to contribute more value to society in the future.
