Student can choose between Hokkaido or Kyoto, date of travel, study period and accommodation type according to their requirements.
Classrooms
Summer courses in Japan with MINNA provide students the flexibility to choose their travel date, study term, and lodging type based on their needs. The course consists of studying Japanese for half a day in the morning and participating in various cultural and sporting activities in the evening, such as learning how to make sushi, soba, or Japanese sweets; learning martial arts (Karate, Kendo); practicing Ikebana flower arranging; experiencing Taiko drumming; participating in a Japanese tea ceremony; and attending a summer festival, among other things.

Minimum age: 15 years and above (No upper age limit)

Level of education: all levels is available

Study time: Monday to Friday, 9:30 ~ 12:20 (50mn / class)

Class size: maximum 8 people / class, 30 people / semester
Accommodations
Homestay: stay with a Japanese family, with a private room including breakfast and dinner each day.
Shared-House: shared room with foreign friends. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own meal.
Private Apartments: ideal for students who require privacy and include all amenities within the room.

Students under the age of 17 must stay at Homestay.

The minimum period of stay in shared-house is 1 month.
Activities
Cultural Classes (2 times a week):
Experience Japanese culture such as Taiko drumming, Ikebana flower arranging, Japanese tea making, Kimono dressing, martial arts such as Karate, Kendo and more.
*Participation fee is included in the prices.
Other Activities (3 times a week):
Various activities to create opportunities to exchange culture with Japanese people or classmates such as participating in summer festivals, playing sports, educational trips, outdoor picnics, etc.

Summer course 2024 registration is open until the end of February 2024. According to the needs of each student, you can pick between Hokkaido and Kyoto, as well as the travel date, study duration, and kind of accommodation.
